There is no MakeItGIF browser extension yet.

What’s true today
- No store listing. MakeItGIF is not on the Chrome Web Store, Edge Add-ons, or Firefox Add-ons. Any listing claiming to be MakeItGIF is not ours and should not be installed.
- No version, no permissions. Nothing has shipped, so there is no version number or permissions list. When available, both will be published here in plain English before installation is requested.
- This page is the source of truth. When the extension becomes real, this page will include supported browsers, an install link, permissions explained, and privacy details — in that order.
The idea we’re building toward
Bring the browser into the same loop as the bot and Library — spot a GIF-worthy moment while browsing, capture it, and have it land in the MakeItGIF Library, tagged and findable. The panel you might imagine here is design intent, not current software.
Meanwhile, everything else is live: the bot, the Studio, and the desktop Library. No mailing list to join — check back here or watch announcements in the @MakeItGIF_bot chat.
